To different people, “living the life of luxury” can mean different things. For some, it means living in a sprawling country estate; for others, it’s about living in a custom home in a high-class suburban neighborhood, and for still others, it can mean living in an urban setting in a high-end apartment or condo complex.
At the Meridian complex in downtown San Diego, residents not only live in well-appointed condos, but they also get amazing views of the San Diego Bay, access to a concierge, valet parking, and 24-hour security. In addition, they have access to all of the amenities you’d expect to find in a luxury condo complex, such as a pool and spa, an exercise facility, a sauna, a beautifully landscaped garden, a grand lobby, and more.
While the individual condos in the Meridian come with things like European cabinetry, marble bathrooms, and grand entry foyers, most residents also want to add their personal touches to their spaces. For Meridian residents the Finkelsteins, they desired a high-end audiovisual system for their condo. But not just any AV system—they wanted a customized system that would be easy to control and that would operate reliably.
The Finkelsteins hired AV Programming Associates (AVPA), a San Diego-based Crestron programming company that specializes in high-end residential AV systems. They went with AVPA because the company was willing to work with the Finkelsteins’ existing AV system (others weren’t) and because they knew AVPA would provide them with ongoing system support.
After cleaning up all of the wiring of their existing AV setup and troubleshooting some of the issues the homeowners were experiencing, AVPA equipped the Finkelsteins’ condo with two 4K streaming Roku devices as well as a Sonos system for audio streaming. Using Crestron programming, AVPA gave the homeowners the ability to create custom presets that can then be easily recalled. By doing so, homeowners can get the exact setup they want for their AV system with the touch of a button. By using intuitive devices like iPads for system control, it makes everything simple to use.
Now that the project is complete, the Finkelsteins will continue to receive timely, ongoing support from AVPA, should their AV system ever experience any issues or if they want to make updates in the future.
AVPA has completed Crestron programming projects for homeowners throughout Southern California, and more recently in Northern California and Nevada. With offices in San Diego and Lake Tahoe, AVPA is able to provide superior service and follow-up support for even the most discerning residential clients.
